This wine is a great interpretation of a dry Vouvray. It’s decadent, luxurious and elegant. It’s all about texture, mouth feel and trying to separate the many layers of flavour. The pear and quince are the obvious primary flavours on the palate, supported by zesty limes and green apple as a result of generous natural acidity. The savoury oak sits elegantly in the background adding a touch of struck match and graphite mineral to the lingering palate.
This wine is all about purity and the chalky texture is a true expression of its beauty.
