Spring is in the air which brings the new season growth and careful preparation and planning for the next vintage. Our vines are growing at a rapid rate of 5–10cm a week with the flowers beginning to form. This is an exciting time for us as it is the beginning of our season.
Churchview has received 34 medals this season for our range – a wonderful effort from a very dedicated team. Watch out for our Cabernet Sauvignon and Unwooded Chardonnay in Winestates 40 Top Value wines under $20.
We will be soon bottling our 2008 red wines. this was another great vintage from Margaret River and we are excited to be releasing our Zinfandel, GSM and classic Bordeaux style blend. These special releases will only be available to our VIP Customers – contact us for more details.
In honour of the home of Chenin, Churchview has begun the process of making methode traditionale sparkling Vouvray style – we anticipate the release to be July 2010 – but we can't rush our art so watch this space.
